Egyptian striker Mostafa Mohamed signs for Konyaspor
The Egypt international has signed a three-year contract with the Turkish Super Lig club.
Mostafa Mohamed is set to take on a new challenge in Turkey. The 28-year-old striker has officially left FC Nantes to return to the Turkish league, where he had previously played before moving permanently to France in 2023.
The Egyptian international has signed for Konyaspor for the next three years. Mostafa Mohamed is therefore tied to the Turkish club until 2029. The 28-year-old striker’s transfer was made official on Tuesday 1 September by Konyaspor.
Mostafa Mohamed arrives in Turkey after a very eventful summer at FC Nantes. The Egyptian international had gone missing for a month without giving any news of his whereabouts. The French club had begun their pre-season preparations without him.
However, he eventually reappeared and began his pre-season training with FC Nantes’ reserve team. This move to Konyaspor appears to be a happy ending for Mostafa Mohamed.
