Egypt is positioning itself to host the 2027 Spanish Super Cup

Egypt is setting its sights on Spanish football. Having been held in the Middle East in recent years, the 2027 edition of the Spanish Super Cup could take place in Africa.

According to Marca, Egypt has submitted its bid to host this prestigious event in 2027. The Egyptian Football Association hopes to convince the Royal Spanish Football Federation to award it the hosting rights.

However, Egypt is not the only country keen to host the Super Cup in 2027. China, the United States and Mexico are also reported to have submitted their bids.
