Egypt Forward Omar Marmoush Granted Leave for Wedding Ahead of World Cup Preparations

Omar Marmoush has been given permission by the technical staff of Egypt to miss the team’s trip to the United States as he prepares for his upcoming wedding.

According to reports, the forward will not travel with the squad to the United States for the next phase of their 2026 FIFA World Cup preparations, having been excused on personal grounds.

The short break is understood to be fully approved by the team’s technical staff, allowing Marmoush time to focus on his wedding arrangements before returning to international duty.

He is expected to rejoin the camp on June 2, just a few days after the team settles into their training base in the United States.
