Edouard Mendy, the impenetrable wall of the Saudi Pro League

The Senegalese international is the goalkeeper with the most clean sheets this season.

Edouard Mendy is one of the key players behind Al-Ahli Saudi's performance in the Saudi Pro League. He has been unbeatable in goal since the start of the 2025-26 season.

In 13 games played, Mendy has kept nine clean sheets. That's more than any other goalkeeper in the Saudi league. What's most impressive is that Edouard Mendy has played seven fewer games. With the Saudi Pro League currently in its 20th round, the 33-year-old Senegalese has played only 13 games with his Saudi club.

He missed seven games because he joined the national team for the Africa Cup of Nations, which took place from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026. Senegal won the competition, with Mendy once again putting in an impressive performance.
