Edoardo Bove’s mother faints in stands after horrifying incident involving her son


A terrifying incident occurred during the Serie A match between Fiorentina and Inter Milan when Fiorentina player Edoardo Bove collapsed unconscious on the pitch. The situation sent shockwaves through the stadium, especially affecting Bove's mother, Tania, who fainted in the stands, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
After being revived, Tania rushed to the local hospital's emergency ward, where Edoardo was being treated. She was accompanied by the mayor of Florence, Sara Funaro. At the hospital, they joined Edoardo’s father, Giovanni, and his girlfriend, Martina.
Fiorentina’s head coach Raffaele Palladino and several club staff members also arrived at the hospital to support their player.
Bove spent some time in the intensive care unit under sedatives but eventually regained consciousness. Doctors assured everyone that the footballer’s life was not in danger.
Edoardo Bove, 22, is a product of Roma’s academy and was part of the squad that won the 2021/22 UEFA Conference League. In the summer of 2024, he joined Fiorentina on a one-year loan deal.
