Ecuador centre midfielder Angulo died in hospital after a road accident

Today, very sad news comes from Ecuador.

Details: According to the official website of LDU Quito, Ecuadorian national team central midfielder Marco Angulo passed away on November 12 at the age of 22.

A month ago, Angulo was involved in a severe car accident, and since then, medical teams had been fighting to save his life. Unfortunately, their efforts were not enough to save the player.

Angulo was a product of Independiente del Valle’s academy. Last year, he transferred to MLS club FC Cincinnati and was on loan to LDU Quito.

Angulo earned two caps for the Ecuadorian national team in friendly matches.
