Now Claudio will have to look for a new job.
Details: According to Fabrizio Romano on his X social media page, 74-year-old Claudio Ranieri is stepping down as senior advisor of AS Roma with immediate effect.
It is reported that the reason for such a drastic decision was a serious conflict between Ranieri and the "Wolves" head coach Gian Piero Gasperini.
Ranieri and Gasperini had sharply different views on the club’s future direction and development, leading to repeated clashes between the two specialists. These disputes often spilled into the open, negatively affecting the team’s atmosphere.
Ranieri was appointed Roma’s senior advisor in July 2025 after leaving his position as head coach of the team.
