Early title! Inter officially crowned champions of Italy

Inter Milan have secured the Serie A title ahead of schedule for the 2025/26 season. The Nerazzurri officially claimed the Scudetto on May 3rd in a home clash against Parma.

Christian Chivu’s side only needed a draw to seal the deal. The team delivered on their objective, but it was the goals from Thuram and Mkhitaryan that ensured a comfortable victory. With three matches left in the season, Inter lead Napoli by 12 points, making them unreachable for their rivals.

It’s worth noting that this Scudetto is Inter’s 21st in club history and their second in the last three years. Only Juventus from Turin boast more titles, having claimed the Serie A crown a record 36 times, though they haven’t lifted the trophy since 2020.
