Every year, fans of EA FC are treated to a new edition of the iconic football simulator. In one of the upcoming updates, we might see a completely revamped player career mode.
Details: According to the FC CONCEPTS community, EA is considering adding an open world feature to the player career mode in one of the next games. Rumor has it, the following features are on the table:
- This will be a separate game mode, reminiscent of NBA 2K Park.
- Create and customize your own character.
- In-game currency system.
- The ability to own your own house.
- Buy and own a car.
- Train on Volta pitches.
- Shop for clothes in stores.
- Interact with other players online.
- Create your own lobbies.
However, it’s still unclear whether this mode will debut in EA FC 26 — the project is reportedly in the early stages of testing.
Reminder: EA FC 25 remains the most popular football simulator in the world, but the developers recently faced serious criticism. The controversy arose from a goal celebration added to the game that mimics the movements of a chimpanzee.
