Dynasty. Petr Čech's son signs contract with Fulham

The Čech family continues to make its mark on English football. Petr Čech's 16-year-old son, Damian, has just signed his first professional contract—not with Chelsea or Arsenal, where his legendary father starred, but with London side Fulham.

The young goalkeeper is already featuring for the Czech Republic U-18 national team and, much like his father, has chosen to focus on football despite a strong interest in hockey. Previously part of Chelsea’s academy, Damian made the switch to Fulham a year ago, where he has now taken a major step forward in his professional career.

Interestingly, Petr Čech’s daughter Adéla is also making waves: at 17, she received a call-up to the Czech Republic U-17 women’s team, while playing for Fulham’s women’s squad, who recently clinched the London and South East Regional League title.
