Formula 1 returns after a month-long break, with the upcoming weekend, August 23-25, featuring a new race in the Netherlands.
Dutch Grand Prix 2024: what to know about the tournament?
The Dutch Grand Prix is one of the World Championship stages, held from 1948 to 1985 and resumed in 2021 at the Zandvoort Circuit. Since 1952, it has been part of the World Championship, and in 1962 and 1976, it was twice named the European Grand Prix.
This year's Dutch Grand Prix marks the fifteenth stage of the World Championship, the thirty-sixth Dutch Grand Prix in history, and the thirty-fourth as part of the Formula 1 World Championship.
For the past three years, the Dutch Grand Prix has been won by the home country's representative, Max Verstappen. This year, he could become one of the two most successful drivers in the event's history. Currently, the record for most wins belongs to British driver Jim Clark, who has won four times.
