Swedish athlete Armand Duplantis broke his own world record in pole-vaulting. This achievement took place at the 2024 Diamond League event in Chorzów, Poland.

Duplantis cleared the height of 6.26 meters on his second attempt, just three weeks after breaking his previous record at the 2024 Paris Olympics on his way to winning the gold medal.

The Swedish athlete set his third world record in one year, bringing the total number of world records in his career to 10.

Second place in the pole vault at this event was claimed by Sam Kendricks from the USA, while Emmanouil Karalis from Greece finished third. Both athletes cleared 6.00 meters.
