Dubois is determined to prove the world the seriousness of his championship ambitions
On September 21, Wembley will host a fight between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois for the IBF world heavyweight title.
Dubois shared his expectations before the fight. The British boxer intends to justify before the whole world his championship ambitions.
Quote: “I need to legitimize my championship ambitions, win and show the world that I'm a real man and a champion. It should work out, I'm in the right place at the right time. I just need to stay on my game and stay focused.
I really want to win, so I'm working hard. I bowed my head, I prayed, and what will be. I'll leave it to the heavenly forces to decide that,” Sky Sports quoted Dubois as saying.
The boxers also held an open training session today. View the footage you can here.
Recall: Earlier in the undercard of the fight Joshua - Dubois took place important changes.
Dubois is the current holder of the IBF world championship belt. The other three heavyweight belts belong to Oleksandr Usyk, but he can lose them if he loses in a rematch to Tyson Fury.
