Done Deal: Schalke Close in on Junior Adamu Signing After Agreement With Freiburg

FC Schalke 04 are on the verge of completing the signing of striker Junior Adamu from SC Freiburg after both clubs reached an agreement, according to reports.

The 25-year-old forward has already completed a medical with Schalke as the deal moves into its final stages, with only official confirmation now remaining.

Adamu, who spent the second half of the 2025/26 season on loan at Celtic, is set to make a permanent switch to the German side in a deal reportedly worth around €800,000.

During his short spell in Scotland, the striker made six appearances for Celtic, scoring once and registering one assist.
