Done Deal: Rivers United Sign Shehu Dabai on Three-Year Contract Ahead of 2026/27 Season

Rivers United have officially completed the signing of winger Shehu Abdulrasheed Dabai from Niger Tornadoes ahead of the upcoming 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The left-footed attacker has signed a three-year contract with the Port Harcourt-based club after successfully completing his medical.

Dabai, who has previously received a Super Eagles invitation, joins Rivers United following an impressive spell with Niger Tornadoes, where his performances caught the attention of several top NPFL sides.
