Arsenal have managed to convince the Argentine forward to make a move.
Details: According to TEAMtalk, this week representatives from London’s Arsenal held closed-door talks with the agents of 26-year-old Argentina international and Atlético Madrid striker Julián Álvarez.
It is reported that both parties have reached a mutual understanding, and now Álvarez’s transfer to Arsenal is considered almost a done deal.
Despite interest in Álvarez from both Barcelona and Chelsea, the Gunners decided to act swiftly—and it paid off.

One of the key factors in the successful negotiations was Arsenal’s willingness to meet all demands from both Álvarez and Atlético Madrid—from financial terms to ensuring a smooth player registration, which could have posed problems for Chelsea and Barcelona.
The Argentine himself gladly accepted Arsenal’s offer, as he has long dreamed of returning to England to fight for silverware.
This season, Álvarez has played 44 matches for Atlético, scoring 17 goals and providing 9 assists. His current contract with the "Colchoneros" runs until 2030, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €90 million.
