Done deal! Fenerbahce reach agreement with N'Golo Kanté

Details: According to SkySports journalist Florian Plettenberg on his social media page X, 34-year-old French national team and Al-Ittihad defensive midfielder N'Golo Kanté has reached an agreement with Turkish giants Fenerbahce.

It is reported that after the player and the Turkish powerhouse reached a verbal agreement, the biggest obstacle became Al-Ittihad, who were reluctant to let go of their midfielder in the winter. However, the club eventually gave the green light for Kanté to depart.

Plettenberg states that the transfer fee will be €4 million, and Kanté's contract with Fenerbahce will run until 2028.

It is worth noting that Kanté has played for Al-Ittihad since June 2023, making 105 appearances, scoring 10 goals and providing 11 assists. This season, the Frenchman featured in 26 matches, netting 2 goals and delivering 1 assist. According to Transfermarkt, the midfielder is currently valued at €4.5 million.
