Done Deal : Cameroonian Junior Dina Ebimbe to join Schalke 04
An agreement has been reached with Eintracht Frankfurt regarding the transfer of the Cameroonian international.
Junior Dina Ebimbe is set to leave Eintracht Frankfurt after three seasons. Although his contract expires in June 2027, the 25-year-old midfielder is set to continue his career with a newly promoted Bundesliga side.
Schalke 04, impressed by Junior Dina Ebimbe’s profile, are reported to have convinced Eintracht Frankfurt to let him join them during this summer’s transfer window. According to Florian Plettenberg, an agreement has been reached between Schalke 04 and Eintracht Frankfurt.
Junior Dina Ebimbe is expected to sign a two-season contract, with an option for a further year. He is therefore set to play for Schalke 04 until 2028.
The transfer fee for the Cameroonian international is reported to be €1 million. A 25% sell-on clause is said to be included in the deal between the two clubs.
The 25-year-old Cameroonian midfielder is thus set to begin a new chapter in his career after spending the 2025–2026 season on loan at Brest in Ligue 1.
