Dallas Mavericks' superstar Luka Doncic is on the verge of securing the largest contract in NBA history.

According to ESPN journalist Bobby Marks, next summer, the Slovenian basketball player will have the opportunity to sign a five-year contract worth $346 million, setting an absolute league record.

It is noted that he will only have this right in the summer of 2025 due to being in the NBA for only his sixth season.

Currently, Doncic earns approximately 40 million euros per season, but under the new contract, this amount will increase to 70 million.

In the current season, Doncic is averaging 34.0 points, 9.1 rebounds, 9.8 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. He is considered one of the top contenders for the MVP title.

After 74 games, Dallas holds the fifth position in the Western Conference with 45 victories to their credit.
