This is the 21st time in the club’s history that it has lifted the trophy.
The final, played on Saturday 30 May at the Mamadou Konate Stadium, lived up to all expectations. Both teams showed determination, but it was Djoliba AC who came out on top when the final whistle blew. They won the match 2-0.
By winning the 65th edition of the Mali Cup, Djoliba AC pockets a hefty cheque. The club receives twenty-five million CFA francs. As for the runners-up, FC Diarra, they pocket ten million CFA francs. Named man of the match, Boubacar Diarra received a cash prize of 500,000 CFA francs.
