Disciplinary Committee Banned Hohoe United FC for Three Seasons After Ghana Premier League Withdrawal
Hohoe United FC have been banned for three seasons by the Ghana Football Association after withdrawing from the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign.
The ruling was confirmed by the Ghana Football Association Disciplinary Committee on Friday, May 1, 2026, after the club unilaterally pulled out of the 2025/26 season.
As part of the punishment, all players have been declared free agents, while the club must refund all financial and material support received from the GFA. Hohoe United have also been relegated and will compete in Division Two after serving their suspension.
