Disagreements are behind us. Ten Hag spoke about Sancho's return
Manchester United's manager Erik ten Hag provided a detailed account of his discussions with Jadon Sancho, clarifying the situation as the winger prepares to return to action.
Sancho has been included in the squad for the away pre-season friendly against Rangers, which will mark his first appearance for the club since August last year.
In early September, a public dispute arose between the coach and the player regarding Sancho's training performance, leading to his exclusion from the squad and suspension from training. The player did not apologize to the coach and spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund.
Before the match against Rangers, Ten Hag spoke about the return of the controversial player in an interview with the Dutch publication AD.
“We had a good conversation. Everyone can make mistakes. We’ve drawn a line and moved on. The team needs quality players, and one thing is certain: Jadon is a very good player. I hope everything will work out, and he can contribute to our success.”
