Dillan Solomons speaks candidly about personal lessons learnt from Nasreddin Nabi!

Experienced defender Dillan Solomons spoke about what he personally learnt from coach Nasreddine Nabi during the 2024-2025 season.
Tunisian coach Nasreddine Nabi's much-anticipated arrival at Kaizer Chiefs with his full technical staff from AS FAR Rabat has failed to spark the anticipated revival at Naturena. Eight months into his tenure, the Glamour Boys find themselves mired in their worst form of the season - winless in eight consecutive Premiership matches (D4 L4) and languishing in ninth position with just 31 points from 27 games.
Defender Dillan Solomons provided rare insight into Nabi's philosophy during this challenging period: "The coach has shown us football requires different approaches - sometimes talent prevails, other times it's pure grit that wins matches." This hard-earned wisdom comes as Chiefs struggle to convert draws against mid-table opponents into victories, while suffering damaging defeats to relegation-threatened sides like Richards Bay and Marumo Gallants.
With their last victory dating back to March against newcomers Magesi FC, Nabi's project faces increasing scrutiny. The Tunisian tactician now confronts his greatest challenge - restoring the fighting spirit that once made Chiefs South Africa's most feared club. As Solomons noted: "Next season you'll see a different mentality." Whether management affords Nabi that opportunity remains football's most pressing question in Johannesburg.
