Diego Simeone Praises Ademola Lookman After Goal in Atletico Madrid Defeat to Real Madrid

Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone has praised Ademola Lookman for his impressive performance in the team’s 3-2 loss to Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu on Sunday night.

The Nigerian international was one of Atletico’s standout performers and made his mark by scoring his second league goal of the season in the first half of the game. Despite the defeat, Simeone commended Lookman’s development and attitude.

“Ademola Lookman is improving and working very well. He gives us different options in attack. We’re helping him grow defensively because he has the work ethic. He’s a player with a big heart and a desire to learn,” he said.

Lookman has now recorded five goals and three assists in 14 appearances across all competitions.
