Diego Costa may return to La Liga: who is interested?

Despite his advancing age, former Atlético Madrid and Chelsea striker Diego Costa isn’t ready to hang up his boots. Following his departure from Brazilian side Grêmio, the 36-year-old Spanish-Brazilian forward already has a new opportunity on the horizon.

Details: According to Mundo Deportivo, Costa has drawn interest from Real Valladolid, a club he previously represented during the 2009–2010 season. Reinforcing their squad would be straightforward for Valladolid, as Costa became a free agent on January 1.

It is believed that the club, owned by Ronaldo, will offer Costa a six-month contract, and the player is reportedly keen to finalize the deal.

Reminder: In 34 La Liga matches for Real Valladolid, Costa scored eight goals. However, he is best known for his successful stint with Atlético Madrid, where he won the Spanish league title.
