Didier Drogba and Thierry Henry bet on Chelsea’s clean-sheet record
Didier Drogba and Thierry Henry, true legends of their respective clubs, have found themselves in a friendly dispute over the current season.
Details: A video surfaced online showing the two icons discussing Chelsea’s long-standing record. At present, the Blues hold the Premier League mark for the most clean sheets in a single campaign.
Quote: “Alright, let’s do it,” Henry told Drogba. “If Arsenal break Chelsea’s clean-sheet record, then you wear the hat.”
Drogba shook Henry’s hand and replied: “I’ll wear the cap, I’ll wear the shirt — number 14.”
Arsenal have conceded five goals in their first 11 league matches. Chelsea, in the 2004/05 season, allowed just 15 goals across the full 38-match campaign.
Reminder: Chelsea are preparing a transfer offer for Real Madrid’s Brazilian forward Endrick.
