Did she struggle with the separation? Footballer Ana Marković leaves her club shortly after her boyfriend’s departure
Ana Marković, often dubbed the most beautiful footballer in the world, has decided to leave her club, Portuguese side Braga, despite joining only last summer. She announced the news on her Instagram page.
Marković expressed gratitude to her teammates, the club, and the fans for her time there and bid them farewell. Braga’s women's team also shared a similar farewell message on their Instagram account.
Notably, the Croatian played just four matches for Braga in half a season.
Previously, Marković posted an emotional TikTok video where she tearfully said goodbye to her boyfriend, footballer Tomás Ribeiro, who completed a transfer to Farense. His move meant the couple had to separate, which deeply affected her—so much so that she even declared, "I hate football" in response.
It is speculated that this separation may have influenced Marković’s decision to terminate her contract with Braga, possibly in an effort to be closer to her boyfriend.
