Mbappé also shared a photo of the Portuguese forward, captioning it, “Deepest condolences, support, and thoughts are with those involved, their family and loved ones. Rest in peace Diogo & André.”

The sudden and tragic death of 28-year-old Diogo Jota has shaken the entire football world, with many players and clubs expressing their condolences to the bereaved family.
In memory of the Portuguese player, even Wimbledon agreed to amend its classic rule requiring tennis players to wear only all-white outfits, allowing the addition of black mourning armbands for those wishing to pay tribute.
