Football superstars Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé have spoken out about the shocking and unexpected death of Liverpool player Diogo Jota. Both players shared their messages on their Instagram pages.

Messi posted a black-and-white photo of Jota, accompanied by the succinct phrase, “Rest in peace.”
Mbappé also shared a photo of the Portuguese forward, captioning it, “Deepest condolences, support, and thoughts are with those involved, their family and loved ones. Rest in peace Diogo & André.”
The sudden and tragic death of 28-year-old Diogo Jota has shaken the entire football world, with many players and clubs expressing their condolences to the bereaved family.
In memory of the Portuguese player, even Wimbledon agreed to amend its classic rule requiring tennis players to wear only all-white outfits, allowing the addition of black mourning armbands for those wishing to pay tribute.
It should be recalled that the tragedy occurred on a road in Spain, where Jota and his younger brother were involved in a car accident.
