Details: According to the OHL, former CHL and U Sports player Jacob Winterton has passed away after a long fight with cancer. He was just 25 years old. He played for the Flint Firebirds and the Oshawa Generals before joining the University of Guelph Gryphons.
Jacob was the brother of Seattle Kraken forward Ryan Winterton.
