The sensational finalist of the DFB Cup – Arminia, if anyone forgot or didn't know, plays in the third Bundesliga. During a championship match against a team from Bielefeld, a rather interesting incident occurred.

Details: Last week, Arminia claimed a 2-0 victory over Viktoria from Cologne, and during this match, Arminia's goalkeeper Jonas Kersken was reportedly injured. Coach Mitch Kienat seized this opportunity to give instructions to his players.

Unlike outfield players, goalkeepers receive assistance directly on the field, which causes a pause in the game. Kienat exploited this loophole. According to Reuters, there are grounds to believe that there was no injury at all, and Arminia did this deliberately to gain an unfair opportunity to give players instructions.

This was also pointed out by Viktoria's head coach Olaf Janssen, who was sent off the field due to his protest over the matter. The situation is now being handled by the German Football Association.

Reminder: In the DFB Cup final on May 24, Arminia will face Stuttgart. In the semi-finals, the third Bundesliga team defeated the reigning trophy holders, Bayer.
