Next season, Porto will have a new head coach. According to Record, the club's management has decided to dismiss Sérgio Conceição.

Yesterday, Porto triumphed over Sporting Lisbon in extra time to win the Portuguese Cup final, but this success was not enough to secure Conceição's position. The "Dragons" finished only third in the Primeira Liga, trailing Sporting by 18 points and Benfica by 10 points.

Interestingly, shortly before the end of the season, Conceição extended his contract with Porto until the summer of 2029. However, this decision was made by the former club president, Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa. Just days after this, Pinto da Costa lost the presidential election to former Chelsea, Porto, and Tottenham manager André Villas-Boas.

It is reported that Marseille, currently seeking a new head coach, has shown interest in Conceição.

Conceição has been managing Porto since the summer of 2017. Under his leadership, the "Dragons" won the Portuguese championship three times and claimed the national cup four times.
