Barcelona remains unfazed by reports of Bayern's interest in Nico Williams. The Catalan club is convinced that the player himself favors a move specifically to their team.
According to Marca, news from Germany about Bayern making a fresh attempt to sign Williams is met with indifference in Catalonia. German media states that Bayern sporting director Max Eberl left the team's base ahead of the Club World Cup kickoff and returned to Munich for a meeting with Uli Hoeneß, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, and other club executives. The main topic on the agenda: preparing a new proposal for Nico Williams.
Although Bayern has already been in contact with the 22-year-old winger's representatives, the player has made it clear to Barça sporting director Deco that he wants to continue his career at Camp Nou.
This desire to move to Catalonia and play alongside his friend Lamine Yamal only reinforces the confidence within Barça's management, which will have to splash out €58 million for the winger.
