PSG winger Marco Asensio has been playing for Aston Villa on loan since February.
The head coach of the Birmingham team, Unai Emery, spoke about the possibility of signing the Spanish footballer permanently at the end of the season.
Quote: "Can we keep Asensio? It depends on circumstances. Of course, we are happy with him.
We are protecting him because he doesn't feel 100% ready. He wanted to start against Brugge, but I decided to hold him back," said Emery.
In yesterday's Champions League match against Brugge, Asensio scored two goals after coming on as a substitute in the second half.
Reminder: Earlier, we reported that Aston Villa showed interest in Real Sociedad's versatile defender Aramburu.
