Dennis Gets Fresh Shot at Redemption

Emmanuel Dennis has been handed another chance to revive his career after completing a move to Danish Superliga side Brøndby IF. The 28-year-old forward, who has eight Super Eagles caps, is hoping regular football will help him rediscover the form that once made him one of Nigeria’s brightest attacking talents.

Dennis signed a two-year contract following a successful week-long trial, ending a long spell without a club after leaving Nottingham Forest last summer. He joined Forest from Watford in 2022 but struggled for minutes, leading to loan moves that failed to reignite his career.

Now rebuilding in Denmark under Steve Cooper, a familiar figure from Forest, Dennis will focus on game time. A consistent run could reopen the door to international football after his last appearance in 2022 for club and country again.
