Demba Seck targeted by Schalke 04
Currently on loan at Partizan Belgrade, the Senegalese player could join the German club.
Demba Seck’s loan spell in Belgrade ends this summer. But until then, there is no indication that the club will exercise the option to buy the Senegalese striker. Nor is there any certainty that Seck will be able to secure a place in the team upon his return to Torino FC.
But behind these uncertainties, there is a suitor. FC Schalke 04, the current leaders of the German second division, are monitoring the Senegalese player’s situation. The club, which could return to the Bundesliga next season, would like to secure Demba Seck’s services.
If they are promoted to the top flight of German football at the end of the season, Schalke 04 could trigger the Senegalese striker’s release clause. This is estimated at two million euros a sum well within the German club’s means.
