Dele Alli intends to return to the Premier League

New updates have emerged regarding Dele Alli's future, as he aims to return to the Premier League following his stints at Tottenham Hotspur and Everton.

Details: Dele has spent the last three seasons contracted with Everton, having joined the club in January 2022. During this time, the English midfielder played 13 Premier League matches but started only once for the Toffees. A serious injury, sustained while on loan at Beşiktaş in 2023, forced him to spend last season in rehabilitation with Everton, where he continues to train despite the club parting ways with him in the summer.

The 28-year-old has been training with Everton's first team since the summer, when Sean Dyche's squad returned for pre-season preparations. He hopes to secure a new contract with the club by proving his fitness.

Additionally: In an interview with BBC Sport, Everton's sporting director Kevin Thelwell provided more insight into the situation, noting that Everton and Tottenham have reached an agreement on the next steps if Dele signs a new contract. Thelwell expressed optimism that the midfielder would play for Everton in the Premier League, stating that the club would welcome this, as Dele has endured difficult times.

Recall: Despite not playing at a high level in recent years, Dele stated in an interview on *Monday Night Football* on Sky Sports last season that he believes in his ability to return to the Premier League. He mentioned that he is ready to return to the pitch after recovering from his injury.
