Defender on his way to Birmingham: Axel Disasi joins Aston Villa until the end of the season

Aston Villa has moved to strengthen its defensive line and has set its sights on Chelsea’s Axel Disasi.

Details: After prolonged negotiations, the two clubs have reached an agreement. According to insider Matt Law, Chelsea has given the green light for the move, and Disasi is already on his way to Birmingham to finalize the details with Villa.

Meanwhile, in the summer of 2024, Chelsea signed João Félix, but the Portuguese forward failed to secure a starting spot and is now heading elsewhere. Félix joins Milan on loan.

Reminder: Christopher Nkunku will not leave Chelsea this winter. No club has met Chelsea’s financial demands, as the Blues were seeking €65 million for the French attacker.

Aston Villa had also shown interest in Félix earlier but opted to sign Marcus Rashford on loan from Manchester United yesterday.
