Deco recommends that Barça reject the Bayern star. The reason is known
The likelihood of Joshua Kimmich transferring from Bayern Munich to Barcelona decreases with each passing day.
According to Diario Sport, Barcelona's sporting director Deco has prepared a detailed report for the management, advising against signing Kimmich. In the report, Deco points out that Kimmich has a rather problematic character and could cause significant issues in the dressing room.
Hansi Flick, who will be introduced as Barcelona's new head coach today, will not insist on Kimmich's transfer, despite having worked with him previously at Bayern.
It is also known that Kimmich's priority is to extend his contract with Bayern, but he has yet to receive an offer from the club. His current contract expires in the summer of 2025.
Signing a new defensive midfielder is a priority for Barcelona this summer. It is likely that the club will sign two players for this position, as they have already agreed on the transfer of Guido Rodríguez from Betis on a free transfer.
