Deco comments on Eric García’s new contract

Eric García has become a key figure in Barcelona’s defence, and the club’s management is determined to keep working with him. They are now closing in on a new contract.

Details: according to Barcelona’s sporting director Deco, the agreement is in its final phase. Only a few details remain before everything is announced.

Quote: “We’re down to the final details… but Eric will sign a new contract,” Deco said.

Additionally, Fabrizio Romano reports that the new deal will run for five years and is expected to be officially announced next week.

They also asked Barcelona sporting director Deco about the possibility of such a move. According to the club legend, it is highly unlikely. Messi has a contract with Inter Miami, and the parties have never even discussed such an option.
