Decisive moment. Bayern begin contract talks with Harry Kane
Bayern's management is doing everything possible to keep Kane at the club.
Details: According to renowned and respected German journalist Christian Falk, Bayern Munich have started negotiations with their 32-year-old striker Harry Kane regarding an extension of his contract.
It is reported that the Munich side have made Kane's contract renewal one of their top priorities this season, since otherwise the player could leave on a free transfer in 2027.
At the moment, Kane has not given a definitive answer, only telling reporters:
"There's no rush. I'm really happy in Munich. You can see that from my game. If there is contact, then we'll see.
But I'm not thinking about next season yet. First, there's the World Cup this summer. And I doubt anything will change after this season. I'm sure in the coming months I'll have talks with Bayern, and then we'll see what's best for the future." Kane said.
Harry Kane joined Bayern from Tottenham in the summer of 2023 for €95 million. Since then, he has featured in 119 matches for Bayern, scoring 109 goals and providing 29 assists.
His current contract with the Bavarian club runs until the summer of 2027, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €75 million.
Reminder: Harry Kane fails to register a single shot against Arsenal for the first time
