Real Madrid is set to enter the race for a Bayern Munich player.

Details: According to renowned insider and journalist Santi Aouna, Real Madrid has made a definitive decision in favor of Bayern Munich’s 27-year-old central defender Dayot Upamecano, choosing him over 26-year-old Ibrahima Konaté from Liverpool.

Reports suggest that Konaté still harbors a strong desire to join the Galacticos, but Madrid no longer considers him a top priority signing.

It’s also noted that Real has accepted they won't be able to sign Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi, who has already pledged to join Liverpool.

This season, Upamecano has made 14 appearances for Bayern but has yet to register a goal or assist.

Dayot Upamecano’s current contract with Bayern runs until the summer of 2026, and his market value is estimated at €60 million by Transfermarkt.

Reminder: Made his choice! Marc Guehi informs Real Madrid he will join Liverpool
