All rumors of resignation have been put to rest once and for all.
Details: According to ariyadhiah, Hervé Renard will remain as head coach of the Saudi Arabia national team. The French tactician, who became a fan favorite after the historic victory over Argentina in 2022, has received full backing from the federation's leadership and will continue preparing the "Green Falcons" for the upcoming World Cup.
This decision puts an end to weeks of speculation linking Renard with a possible departure amid media pressure following recent results. However, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) has opted for stability. It will be Renard who leads the team at the 2026 World Cup, executing the long-term development plan approved last year.
It should be noted that at the World Cup, Hervé Renard and Saudi Arabia will face Uruguay, Spain, and Cape Verde.
Reminder: Earlier reports claimed that Hervé Renard would not continue his tenure with Saudi Arabia and was set to take charge of an African national team.
