Decision Made: Barcelona to Extend Contract with Szczęsny

The experienced Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny is performing excellently for Barcelona, and the club has made a decision regarding his future.

Details: According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona has definitively decided to extend Szczęsny's contract.

His current agreement is valid until the summer of this year, and the new contract will be for an additional year.

Negotiations for the new contract are expected to conclude during the international break at the end of this month.

Szczęsny himself is ready to stay with the team. He is not even deterred by the potential role as a backup to Marc-André ter Stegen when the German recovers from a serious injury.
