According to the head of the Catalan club, the Brazilian winger remains a vital part of the project, and the management has no intention of parting ways with one of the team's leaders.
"We don't want Rafinha to leave. He is a key player for our team," Laporta emphasized.
The president also addressed possible summer signings, noting that the potential arrivals of Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi have no bearing on Rafinha's future.
"The arrival of Gordon and Adeyemi does not mean that Rafa will leave the club," Laporta stated.
Thus, Barcelona are determined to keep the Brazilian and simultaneously strengthen their attacking line ahead of the new season.
Reminder: Astronomical money. Rafinha offered a record-breaking contract
