Girona may lose its manager.

Details: According to renowned and reputable journalist and insider Nicolò Schira on his X social media page, Amsterdam's Ajax is in negotiations with 50-year-old Girona head coach Míchel about appointing him as the new manager of the Dutch giants.

Míchel's contract with Girona expires at the end of the current season and, by all indications, will not be renewed—an opportunity Ajax is eager to seize.

Reports indicate that Míchel is the main contender for the Ajax managerial seat, despite previous media mentions of Arne Slot and Iñigo Pérez as possible candidates.

Currently, Ajax is led by former youth team coach Óscar García, but the club’s management considers his appointment a temporary solution.

Reminder: Big talent. Chelsea sets sights on Ajax's Dutch wonderkid
