Manchester United once again dropped points in the new season of the English Premier League, this time drawing against Crystal Palace.
The Red Devils had more possession and generally outplayed their opponents but failed to score against their former goalkeeper Dean Henderson. The 27-year-old Crystal Palace keeper was named the central figure of the matchday by Dailysports. Interestingly, Henderson was part of Manchester United's system from 2011 to 2023 but played just over 10 matches for the first team.
Henderson made seven saves and significantly helped his team, which struggled defensively. In the first half alone, he denied goals from Garnacho, De Ligt, and Zirkzee, showcasing remarkable reflexes. His performance was crucial in ensuring that Crystal Palace earned a point in this match.
The London club is yet to win this season and currently sits in 16th place with three points. Next weekend, the team will visit one of the season's early strugglers, Everton.
