De Zerbi is the favorite for the new head coach position at Milan. He has a scandal with Marseille players

All indications are that next season, Milan will have a new head coach, as the club is dissatisfied with the team's performance under Sergio Conceicao. Milan has identified their preferred candidate.

Details: According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan's management wants Roberto De Zerbi, who is currently at Marseille, to be their next head coach.

Fabio Paratici, who will become Milan's sporting director, admires De Zerbi's methods and the style of his teams, and is actively lobbying for his candidacy.

At the same time, as reported by L'Equipe, De Zerbi is in serious conflict with Marseille's players. Following a 1-3 defeat to Reims, he refused to conduct a training session on Monday, and the players decided not to train without him.

It is also noted that De Zerbi criticized the players during breakfast for smiling after a poor result, which only turned the team against him.

After 30 rounds of Serie A, Milan is only in 9th place.

Reminder: Kyle Walker harshly criticized Joao Felix during the halftime of the match against Napoli (1-2).
