De Zerbi has confirmed his willingness to continue at Brighton

Brighton head coach Roberto De Zerbi's views on his own future are changing too often. Recently, the Italian said that he had to think about whether to extend his contract with the Seagulls or not, but now he is no longer so categorical and is ready to put the club above himself:

"My ambitions are the same as my players and fans. When I said something different, something maybe stronger, is needed for Brighton. My club needs to give something more every season, every transfer window, work better in terms of organisation - not myself.

I always want to give my opinion, but for the club, not for myself to fight or anything else. The club is more important than the coaches and I know that very well. If I only think about my part of the job, the club can't improve, can't grow, I want to be important for my club. Today it's Brighton, before that it was Shakhtar, before that it was Sassuolo. I always work like this and nobody can change my way of working," De Zerbi is quoted by Goal.
