Roma's head coach Daniele De Rossi is threatening to sue a journalist over his report about a fight at the training session of the Rome team.

Earlier this week, media reports emerged claiming that there had been a heated altercation with a fight between De Rossi and Bryan Cristante on the training ground.

De Rossi sought to clarify what happened during today's press conference and issued an additional warning to the journalist.

"It's true that we had a discussion with Cristante, it lasted about 10 seconds, there was no physical violence, no shouting, nothing like that. So there was some basis, but someone decided to paint a completely different interpretation on top of it, and that's very serious. If people start lying, I will have to start suing...

In the report later aired on Rai, it was stated that De Rossi and Cristante got into a scuffle during training before they were separated by players and staff on the field. After the incident, the player and coach parted ways, exchanging harsh words.
