Yesterday, Napoli secured the fourth league title in their history, giving fans plenty of reasons to celebrate. Yet one of the masterminds behind this success, Antonio Conte, may not be joining the Champions League party.
Details: Earlier reports indicated that the head coach of the Partenopei is unhappy with the conditions set by Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis. De Laurentiis himself has made it clear that he does not hold anyone against their will at the club, but if Conte wants to be respected in Naples, he should stay.
Quote: "Never say never. Coaches have their own individuality, which must be respected, and you can't force them to stay, even with ironclad contracts. Naples is Naples, and it deserves respect: if he wants to make himself a welcome guest, I'd like to see him working here and in the Champions League," De Laurentiis said.
